hi guys, i want to keep a plant/small tree in my living room and kitchen in big pots. There isnt much sunlight in these rooms in my house. Infact i shoud say there will be no sunlight at all. It wont be dark too, the daylight comes in though in the daytime. I want you guys to help me out by giving me names of some plants/trees that are, beautiful to look at, perennial, sold in Toronto, and are which dont need any sunlight at all and grow well indoors. You can help me by sending me links to the plants too.

Visit Logees.com for tropical container plants. Some need little to no light...plus they sell such awesome plants. Ranging from Passifloras to citrus plants and gardenias. Trust me it is sooo worth the trip. They are located in NE CT but are also a mail-order company so they will be delivered to your house!

Ms Seema---You have a tough question--the only plants that really do not need a great deal of sun is evergreens. They do not have leaves and do not do photosysthis process. There a lot of plants to choose from. I prefer the plastic ones from the plastic store.

I'd probably look at a ficus or norfolk island pine for this.. they can tolerate the low light and indoor conditions..
