Instead of purchasing a separate piece of lawn equipment such as a leaf vac can I use a lawn mower with a bagger attached to clean the leaves from my yard? I do get a lot of leaves as we live on a wooded lot. We are tired of raking!

We managed to spill white emulsion house paint on part of our brick drive when we cleaned out our garage a few years ago. Is there any way of getting it off without destroying the bricks, they're red and black. Thanks in advance!

I bought a huge beautiful fall mum plant. Can they be cut back and kept indoors for the winter? Can it be planted outdoors, will it come back next year? I live in the U.P.
Thanks!

The plants will recieve direct sunlight and will get minimal water. Because i live in the florida area it will be very hot but because im doing it for the science department i would perfer that the plants flower and if at all possible attract birds and butterflys.

If you could give me websites with a list of these types of plants that would be great!

I've heard that wood chips are bad for grass until they fully decompose in a year or so. If I spread the dirt pile including chips now can I seed it in the spring?

We have pines in our yard, and want to replace with hardwoods. Oaks, Hickory, etc. Would like something relatively fast growing that does not have surface roots (such as maple and cherry).

I have a 4ft sq, 2ft high brick raised bed in my garden. It is south facing & in the warmer months gets the sun virtually all day. Any ideas what type of soil i should use to fill this bed?
I am a bit concerned that some soil may dry out in the warmer months!

My raised be will be approx. 32' long, around part of my patio wall. 18" high. I got a quote for a concrete wall of $1000. This seems to me to be very expensive. Anyone know how I could do it less expensively?
