i dont know how much to charge.any body please help with the average charge rates.

a lot depends on the size of the lawn etc...
but i know my ex was doing that on the side
and he got about $50 for an average size lawn

Well, who was stupid enough to give you a contract for these services without knowing your price? I have some land in Florida I'd like to sell them.
I say if they were this dumb before, you can count on them being that dumb again. I'd charge them $20/hr labor for lawn maintenance, and $20/hr for the planting and mulching plus the cost of the plants and mulch.

How can you get a contract when they do not know how much you are going to charge them??? I would charge $35.00 plus materials

I would want at least $12/hr for yardwork
Figure your expenses and then go up from there to get the amount of profit you desire.
