As people say ,you need council permission, and they usually have people who do it,they are normally reasonable, around £700. Depends on which council though.
And you cant do it yourself as there are services under the path.

Depends on the area but the local council will do it for a hefty fee and ONLY when you have got your drive in place according to their requirements. It will work out cheaper if others in your street want their kerbs dropped at the same time as well, sort of a job lot really. Beware of sharing your driveway cos if you have driving access onto your driveway ie; via a neighbours dropped kerb, permission will be refused for you to have your own dropped kerb.

I had mine done 3 years ago and it cost £1000 up front and you will have to wait 3 months before it gets done from the council and you need them to do it as they get in touch with other company's like electric, cable, ntl etc to see if it's poss to put one there

My neighbour took out his front garden and added a drive.

He phoned the local council and they did it free of charge.

Hey, is that supposed to be an ethnic joke or something. Kerbians don't like to be dropped, they prefer you just set them back down and leave them alone.
