We managed to spill white emulsion house paint on part of our brick drive when we cleaned out our garage a few years ago. Is there any way of getting it off without destroying the bricks, they're red and black. Thanks in advance!

Sand blasting. It shouldn't take long at all. Any reputable house painter will know of a company that does brick refinishing by sanding (if they don't do this themselves). You'd have to have the whole driveway done though, because this will leave the bricks brand spanking new clean!

No not muriatic acid! That will destroy the mortar in the grout lines! There is a product called brick klean you can use that wont hurt the mortar,or your grass. It can be found at Menards,Lowes or Home Depot.

Try steaming it off, especially if it's completely dried and sunken into the cracks. If you can't rent a steamer, call Stanley and ask their opinion. Any other way would be tons of work and almost as expensive. B.
