Hello we are going to do a complete clean up on a property for sale. There is a 4 by 4 area of blue tint from an eopxy paint spill. We used a wire brush tool to remove the top layer of cement and it worked great on the paint removal. Now we have a BLUE TINT left that I cannot find a product that will remove.
Does anyone have any ideas? I have tried driveway cleaner/degreaser,paint thinner, power wash.

My son bought a nice wrought iron wine rack with a beautiful marble top recently - a small 3/4" chip on the edge occurred as it was moved from the wedding site to home - is there something we can buy/mix or try to cover/fill/blend in so it isn't so noticable? He was greatly saddened about it when they returned from their honeymoon. Thanks.

I am being faced with the challenge of rebuilding some stacked paver steps. Unfortunately, I don't have a picture - it's three tiers of steps with the base being roughly 16' x 4'. It's framed with 6'x6's and the steps themselves are pavers (these pavers: http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=productDetail&productId=12239-000000215-12239&lpage=none). The steps sort of look like the steps in this second picture: http://www.sonic.net/dwstark/images/landscaping2006/Dec11.htm only imagine the risers are 6'x6's and the tops are wider and filled with the paving stones. The shape is also more rectangular instead of curved.

These steps were built directly on the ground and filled with gravel and sand to place the pavers in. The wood is now rotting out and is infested with ants so the steps need replaced. The homeowner wants the same look -- wooden fronts and wood edged treads with the pavers filling in the rest of the steps. How can we rebuild to achieve the same look and prevent rot?

Is there an easy way to make your own swing-arm curtain rods? Or maybe a way to modify a similar set-up, like a plant holder that has a swing-arm?

I have an old duplex 15A double breaker (Siemens) and the little metal piece that connects the 2 switches is removable, allowing each part to function as a separate breaker. I need 2 more 15A circuits in a new box and wondered if it was permissible to just remove the metal piece and use them as if they were separate breakers. I didn't see anything in Code, but just wanted to make sure before the inspection.

Okay; My sister has had her waterbed for like 7 years, and shes sick of it now ["it is SO uncomfortable"] so its now my job to drain it.
We've lost the directions, and I know it involves a hose.

Ive hooked the hose on, and ive tried pushing on the bed, sucking the end of the hose untill water came out, and that works for like 10 seconds then stops.

How do I drain it?

These are cups like one would use in camping-I think of them as cowboy cups. If theres a bit of chipping-its ok as I want them to look used-even rusted in places-so I'll probablt try and chip some. I've got an extra to play with but was wondering what type of drill bit to use? Just a "metal" one? THANKS!

I have a tub and shower doors and I HATE the shower doors. They are ugly and I just feel restricted when I'm showering, so I want to remove them. My mom thinks that the doors will be better to prospective buyers if I go to sell in the future. I say it doesn't make a diff. Do you think that will make a diff in the value of the home, I know bathrooms are big focal points when selling a home? I really hate them, but I don't want to do anything damaging. If I can remove them, any tips on how? Thanks!

I know it sounds silly, but you know I have three children and the current towel rack only holds two of their bath towels, so does anyone have three children and has run into this situation? Do you have any creative ways to decorate the bathroom rather than just hanging another bar? thanks.
