Meaning, I was just wondering if you can lay a thin set of mortar then place vinyl tiles on it, and then grout it? This mabye a stupid question and most people would say why not just use real tile if your going to go through all that trouble, but just wondering?.

Thanks

I cant physically scrub with phosphoric acid anymore and I am afraid the power washer might damage the tile and or grout.

I'm looking for something to spray on my cloth shower curtain that isn't going to pretty much poison me every time I shower. I don't need information about how Scotch guard is really ok for you or anything like that. I just want to know some organic things that will make water bead up or at least semi-ropel it. Thanks for your time and I hope you can help me and possibly others.

I've tried and tried, and found several ways to turn the heat on, but that's not much use when it's 90 degrees out! The wiring diagram and the internet were no use.

Oh boy, this stuff is ugly! It's about 1" thick and comes out from the wall in these dangerous spikes! I can't afford to replace the sheetrock walls, so if anyone knows a way to either sand off, scrape off, or cover the wall up (perhaps with some kind of compound?) I'd be very grateful for the info! Thanks!

What can I do to get rid of carpenter ants, any safe home remedy other than glue boards. I really don't have the $ to have Orkin come and drill holes in my walls. Please help!

yesteday I just started to pain my room. the original color was a ligth blue. I regret not using a primer first. so i put two coastes of white on the ceiling. then I started to paint the walls with a dark burgundy color. ive put on two coats of the burgundy. most of the wall looks even but theres parts where theres light and dark patches.. does it need another coat? and near the top (where the wall and the ceiling meet) ive been using a brush (since ceiling is white and wall is dark) it looks VERY blotcy.. is there an easier way to paint than using a small brush as to not get white on the dark of vice versa? (sorry its hard to explain) ive gotten a "shur line" that paints edges but am not pleases with it as it gets the burgundy onto tthe ceiling...

bow do i get the paint to come out evenly? how to paint where the wall and ceiling meet more easily?

I am putting up drywall and I really don't want to mud and sand. Can I put duck or masking tape over the cracks and screws and then apply paint primer over it all? I realize the tape will show under the paint but that is fine with me.
