So I was out last night at the Christmas Ball, had too much to drink, got awfully drunk.
Basically, I need to know how to clean red wine out of pillows? I won't go into details. But I really need to know! They're not downy. Just normal ones. Can I machine wash them? Would they dry?

We moved into a new house with hard water and we have a water softener. We have the same washer & dryer as before, and are using the same detergent, but seem to be ruining clothes because colors are running or bleeding. Could the water be contributing to or causing this?

I have a lot of silver items which i need to clean. I have heard that using products that we already have at home can be used to efficiently clean silver without having to buy costly silver cleaners at the store.

It seems like I can never see my vinyl floors shiny. I've tried everything and they are opaque. What cleaning supplies do you recomend to take stains off and keep them shiny?

I have just bought some clothes with the new fashion of crinkled fabric. the fabrics include silk, cotton and polyester and a very fine see-through cotton. The instructions say to use the broomstick method of washing to ensure that the clothes remain crinkled. Can anyone who has successfully washed these types of crinkle clothes (skirts, blouses) give me some advice on do's and don'ts before I attempt to crinkle wash the clothes?

I live in an apartment complex and as much as I hate to touch other peoples' clothes, I cant stand when their washing or drying is finished and they dont bother to pick them up for hours. Meanwhile I have clothes to wash. Do you take out their clothes or just wait?

My friend insists that pressing harder on the vacuum attachment while cleaning the stairs results in the vacuum picking up more junk (cat hair, etc.). Is this true? I was under the impression that a vacuum has more than enough suction to pull cat hair out of the carpet without my help.

I don't like to use bleach for cleaning because it's irritating to the senses and always gets on something. However, it's that time of season and I need to clean some pesky mold. I was thinking about going after it with a scrub sponge and some dish soapy water, and then spraying it afterward with Lysol disinfectant. Anyone have any better suggestions?
