You need to clean red boots. I will assume they are real leather.
Take an old tooth brush and Saddle Soap, Wet the toothbrush and load it with Saddle Soap. Use a circular motion to scrub the black marks and the overall surface till you've got an even appearance. After the boots dry, use clear, or neutral shoe polish, paste, not liquid, on the boots. Buff dry with a shoe brush. For a patent leather type shine, you could use a plumber's torch and cotton balls, but it's a little tricky!

Rub the scuff marks with a small amount of vinegar.

I put too much neutral cream polish on light brown leather boots, on the toe where it was scuffed, and now the toe is darker than the rest of the boot. I have buffed and brushed. Hasn't helped. Should i use saddle soap on top of it ???

go to wilson leathers shop ( were they sell leather jackets and stuff) and ask for a leather cleaner color red
