We have an ant problem in our house! We're looking for ways that we might be able to fix it before calling an exterminator. Well the main question is how do ant traps work and what are they? Oh and if you know of ways to get rid of ants then please say so!

Have tried one of those electronic bells....doesn't work....shed's too far away. I just want to be able to attract his attention instead of traipsing all the way up the garden. Any ideas?

I have a Triton Delta Shower Unit. Cannot say exactly which model but it is about 12 years old. The unit works perfectly but the hose has been snapped off today giving my basta*d dog a wash.

The connecton between the hose and the unit has snapped and i don't know if i need to get a whole new unit or if i can simply attach a new hose to the exisiting unit. The reason i cannot be sure is that i can see no way of removing the cover of the unit or even removing the unit itself but then i am somewhat of useless donkey with DIY or anything like that. It doesn't help that my mum is away and will go totally mental when she returns next week!!

Any insight into how i may be likely to fix this or even a point in the direction of a helpful website will make me sleep a lot easier and will ensure i do not end up with a black eye in a week's time!

The whole kitchen steams up and the walls behind it get soaking wet - worried that this could cause major problems to my house? Also the edges of the door and the sides of the machine are dripping with water the entire time its on. Do you think my machine has a fault or are all condensor dryers like this? Its an Indesit model, only few weeks old - still under warranty. many thanks. xx
