I'm pretty naive in the subject, except for the fact that Easter lilies are my favorite. Wait, I mean Casablanca. Actually, I just love white strong scented lilies! : )

This is that type that you buy at hardware that swells to fill cracks. It was being used around a construction site and an excess of it was just placed next to where he was standing. He did not notice this because he was speaking to the owner and when he stepped aside to clear way for more workers he brushed against the stuff and got several streaks of it on his good pants. He has ask me to save them. Is there anything that will remove that stuff once it is dried?

I have an older home and need to replace the existing inset medicine cabinet. I need a cabinet where the rough-in width is 12.25 inches or less. It seems all newer cabinets are 13 or 14 inches wide. Does anyone know where to find a narrow cabinet? I have already checked Home Depot, Ikea, Restoration Hardware and Pottery Barn; they are all too wide. Thanks.

For cripes sake if the product wasn't good enough before they had to "improve" it or Ultra it or Ultimate it then why the heck did we buy it in the first place? You cleaning type folks know what I mean don't you?

I just got new retro-fit windows in my house and I love them! But now my old blinds don't fit anymore. That's okay because I was ready for a change anyway.

I would like to order white wood or faux-wood blinds for many of the windows. Where is the best place to get them? I have looked at blinds.com and that looks good, and I am thinking about having Budget Blinds come out and give me an estimate.

Has anyone had any good or bad experience with either of these companies, or any other nationally operating companies? Thanks for any suggestions!

I bought a small Juvenile (A year or so at most with about 1 foot in height and 1.5 feet in width in some places) Rosemary Plant from the Butte College Horticulture club. It is, however, acting very Ivy-like and growing in odd directions, and I'd like to Clip off some of it's extenions and clean it up a bit. I want to know if clipping it down a bit would send it into shock and ultimately kill it.

Is there a botonist out there that knows more than the basics on rosemary?

I have a huge population of moles in my yard. The yard is riddled with dozens of mole hills and tunnels. It makes planting flowers a total waste of time and energy. I've tried searching the net for ways of getting rid of them, but am finding mostly conflicting information (such as whether moth balls really work or not).

Are there any natural ways of driving the moles elsewhere that have worked for you, not wives' tales but actual tried-and-true solutions? I'd rather not use chemicals. Are there any particular plants that moles find unappetizing, for example?

I've never painted so here goes....

I've got all my supplies and paint from Home Depot. They made sure I had the correct brushes and paint.

Any tips I should know? I just taped everything off. I have to pull off the outlets next. I cut around the edges/trim first, correct? Then wait for that to dry and use the roller? How long do I have to wait before I start rolling after I paint around the edges?

Also, my base boards are painted off white...to touch up any mess ups, do I use a brush to cover up my errors or do I use a mini roller to make it nice and smooth? I don't want it to be obv ious that I touched up the trim.

Thanks for the hlelp!
