They say three burners, I'm assuming that's within the main cooking area. The sides may be made of some material that will hold heat allowing time for steaks to absorb juices. I would think they'd specifically say a "side burner."

Nope, I looked at the Weber link that was put up and looked at a couple of other grills. If they had side burners it was listed in the description. Just my two cents ...for 420.00 you can get a much better grill at Home Depot or Lowe's.

I have one similar and it has no side burner only a work table.
