I live in an older home. Since we moved in I have always wanted to remove the carpeting from the bathrooms for the very reason of what happened today. The toilet overflowed and left the carpeting in the bathroom soaked. It goes swish-swish when you walk on it. We just had not gotten around to replacing the carpeting with tile yet! I am using damp rid and keeping fans on it, but what else can I do? It does not seem like there has been any progress with my methods in over 12 hours. HELP!!! (Thanks!)

I have a sunroom on my house that needs a new roof. When I pulled the drop ceiling I noticed holes in the subroofing. I will be putting down the new roof but was curious to know if I could go right over what is there or if I need to rip everything off first?

I'm going to be moving in to a new house and I'm getting the biggest bedroom. I need some tips on how to design it. I want it kind of futuristic so I want bubble everywhere. My favorite colors are pink and white so I want white walls with pink accessories. I was thinking of making all the bubble pink. I was also planning on having a bunch of circular tubes as storage. Any tips on anything??

I'm a masonry company starting off and i did a big job back in jan a two story brick house aprox 30000 bricks the job completed in few weeks i was paid and complimented the builder person who hired me was very satisfied with our work.In january when we was doing job the builder had us cover windows with plastic for protection even tho we are neat.Reasently 1 week ago the builder called me asking our guys to put an extra colum in back of same house we did back in january we seen he still had not removed the plastic from windows, which is bad heat x3 said he was adding colum and then cleaning bricks and it be ready to sell.So one week goes by and he said he cleaned bricks and took off plastic and noticed two windows broke and other windows was buckling he called us and said he thinks that after 5 mos that our bricklaying wasnt correct&ourfault heat caused bricks to swell and push on windows and he wants us redo all bricks around windows w me buying bricks& do free labor what do you think

Okay, so I have two 12x12x9 ceder boxes and a 12x24x9 rectangle box as well. They have proper draining on the bottom and I have potting soil recommended to me by the fine people at Lowes. I am also thinking of putting a layer of small pebbles at the bottom of all the boxes to improve drainage.
I went out today and bought many different kinds of flowers including Shasta Daisies, English Daisies, bellflowers, Petunias, and Balloon flowers from the local nursery.
Now, my question is this... how many can I plant in each box?? Some of the flowers say plant so many inches apart, so does that mean I can plant them (for example) at the 4 corners of the square boxes? Then what happens to all that space in between? Also, to what extent can I mix flower types in the same box?

Sorry for such a detailed question, I am somewhat of a novice at this! :)

I have 2 presser tank's the first one has a switch with a presser gage on it. After I empty both tank they both had no presser. I can not get the first tank to hold any presser. The second tank I can fill it up to 40psi when the tank is empty. I then turn my pump back on and I still have no water presser.

We've added two more rooms to our house and the main walls are standing, you can see the bricks itself. And I'd like to give it a sound insulation material, because I'm a drummer and I'd like to drum in my room :)
Do You know any suggestions, what kind of material would be the best to choose?
...and also, it shouldn't be too expensive! Maybe around $1000 for the whole room, or for the critical places. (the room is 22 square meters big)

This is driving me freaking mad. Its a new dishwasher, I just bought it a year ago. Ive tried cleaners, washing it by hand, hell, I even tried "the works" bathroom cleaner.

Its this horrible white powder, like, imagine powder dish soap grounded into a fine powder. I coats EVERYTHING.

I cant get rid of it. Anyone else have this problem? How do i fix it? Its not the water, already tried that. Ive ran it without any soap in it numerous times. WIth the heat on, and the heat off.

GGRRRAHHHHH! What good is a 300 dollar machine that DOESNT WORK!!!???

I know that is a perennial. Also when I first bought it it hade bright red flowers that fell off. In their place grew the buds that you see in the picture. It has been three weeks and the buds have not yet bloomed. Are they buds or do I need to pinch them off so they will bloom?
