As a mental health professional for 20+ years, now retired, my first reaction to your question is to ask you who "diagnosed" you with "anxiety". As I remember, there are several different, specific diagnoses about anxiety, and the fact that you're 15 makes certain specific demands or criteria you must be experiencing before anyone can diagnose you with "anxiety". I've been retired for about 8 or 9 years now and therefore am not remembering much about "Hydrozozine" so I can't be sure what effects the medicine should be having on you, especially at your age. From the problems of gas and diarhhea you may be experiencing, someone may want to diagnose you with "Irritable Bowel Syndrome" as well, and maybe prescribe some medication to specifically target that problem. Finally, with a lot of experience as a counselor, I can wholeheartedly agree with "laura m" that you would do well seeing a counselor. Not all counselors can treat "all" problems, so ask a potential psychotherapist if they are familiar with your problem. Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) sounds fitting here, but again, your age may require a different diagnosis". Talk to whomever is giving you this Hydrozozine about what I've said and see if they can help you with a referral to a community mental health clinic or you can look for a counselor on your own, in the phone book. I can truly appreciate the difficulty you must be experiencing and I do hope you follow up with my recommendations. If you can copy my answer here, you can take it with you to the doctor who's giving you the Hydrozozine and whomever diagnosed you with "anxiety" and then you won't forget to ask him or her what I've said. God Bless you.

You have obsessive compulsive disorder, (OCD)w/ anxiety.
It stems from a trauma, or post traumatic stress, something that has happened in your life to cause major stressors.
You need therapy along with meds. If the meds you are on arent helping, say so and try something else.
Meds are not an EXACT science, and their is no "magic bullet," but something else may help.
I was that way for years,...a chronic cleaner, and hand washer.

Good luck
To some who may think this is a poor answer, I have a multi-diagnosed son who has been on 5 dif meds, until we found the right one.
I also foster parented a child w/ severe multi diagnosis of psychological disorders.
You may need blood work, ( more than likely) to check levels, and body chemistry, and a change of meds, or YES maybe a different doctor.

you are not being given the correct meds. your are obsessing to the point that this way of life is not healthy for you. Call your doctor as soon as you can so they can try another medication. this situation can be helped. also hope you are seeing a therapist. I am glad you asked for help. This is a chemical imbalance in your brain. Simple chemicals that can be corrected. Good luck.

You can come clean my house :) but seriously, sounds like a side effect of the medication. I would ask your doctor about it.

I assume that you are leaving at home ,so you should talk to your parents about this. Maybe it's the medication that you are taking causing this periods of unrest for you , they could be to strong for you , tell your doctor about it !
