We just bought a shed with a floor kit. We tore down the existing shed when we bought our home last year. It was the same dimensions and left quite a hole underneath it. We have filled it with fill dirt, but are wondering what we need to place under the shed to keep it from shifting and sinking. The cheapest option is greatly appreciated.

Sorry for my lack of knowledge with this.

I would like to pick your brains about some chairs I have in my classroom at the high school where I work. The chairs are rolling office chairs and the floor is linoleum.

The wheels can be removed, but, without the wheels, the chair is not usable to sit on because the pole in the center of the chair base comes down farther than where the wheels are attached.

There is no money in the budget for new chairs (there are 33 of them), rugs or cushions under the chairs, or to carpet the room.

The wheels are made of plastic. There is a small metal axle between the two sides of a wheel leaving space between them. The top half (but not the sides) of the wheel unit is covered by a plastic outer shell.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thank you!

We live in NC and earlier this month we had a couple days in a row of hard freezes. Our crepe myrtles had already began to sprout new leaves but now they're damaged by the cold (withered and dead). What can I expect for this year and is there anything I can do?

There is a hole at the side of the drain pipe, but at the moment it is blanked off. It looks as if this is where I connect to, but I don't know what connection pipe to ask for, or how to fit it. I would be very grateful for any assistance.

We installed a new sink drain, tailpipe thing, but it is leaking where the drain and the bottom of the sink meet. Got any idea how to fix it? I am thinking about going the permanent root of applying JB Waterweld putty on it. That will fix the leak, but the drain will attached to the sink forever if I do that!! Frig I hate sinks now.

Recently I arrived back to my flat after a weekend away. My flatmate had left dirty plates, cups and glasses all over the kitchen and the bin unemptied, even though she said she would clean up. She repeatedly acts like this. I'm naturally a tidy person, if i have dirty dishes i just wash them, simple as that. Why do some people not clean up after themselves??

I stripped wallpaper from two adjoining areas so that I could paint. With one area, which did not have a layer of paint underneath, I had to do a fair amount of wall repair - spackling, sanding, priming, etc...

The other area had been painted before the wallpaper went up, so I thought it wouldn't be too difficult. I used hot water, a scraper, a sponge, Crunch... I got TONS of glue off, and thought the wall was ready to go. But now that the paint is up, I am noticing a few spots that seem like there was still some glue that needed to be removed. They either have this puckerish look, like I totally missed them, or else they look like smooth raised areas where I scrubbed but some got left behind. There's not a ton of these spots, but I know they'll irritate me.

So... is there anything I can do about it, or does the paint I put on make them permanent? Would the spackle/sand/ prime/paint routine I did on the other area help?

HELP!

Thanks!
