I bought a side by side refrigerator at Sears in Texas a year ago I now dont like do they have trade in for things like this.

I wish I had known. I just bought a new side by side unit!
A good clean side by side should sell for close to the new price in a yard sale, or in the newspaper, or even on Craig's list. There are a few places that will do a trade in, but you will be lucky to get half its value.
You can always ask.
