The Absolutely Apes exhibit at the San Diego Zoo has this really cool rubber mulch. It isn't the loose stuff that is commonly available, but is all sort of "glued" together. It is nice and spongy, you can walk on it in bare feet, and because it is all glued together, it stays where you want it. Anyway, does anyone know where to get this stuff?

Disneyland has the exact same stuff in a playgroud in Toontown.

Hi there,

There's a drain in the patio outside my property that drains away rainwater from the two flats above and also my patio area.

This morning I got up and noticed there's a large pool of water (2 or more inches deep) around it, and the water's not going down.

There were some leaves around it, but I moved those and it still won't drain, so there must be a blockage further down in the drain.

My dad recommended buying a device with a handle on top that screws a flexible wire into the drain to break up the blockage, whereas someone in work told me to buy some drain rods and use those.

Can anyone tell me which is the best for this type of job, and where I can get them from.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers

I planted tomatos the last 3 yrs and they will not grow, what is wrong with the poor little things, their about the size of golf balls.
I live in WV. "oh" they are Reg tomatos too, not cherry's.
I buy the plants at diffrent stores, but they still won't produce good tomatos.

Has anyone made some kind of bracket to mount a waterbed headboard to a regular bed frame? We are getting rid of the waterbed to go to a regular mattress, but like the headboard and would like to keep using it. But I need to find or make a bracket to mount the headboard to the standard frame. Any ideas or suggestions would be great.

when you roll it back up..it spews water?
And how does the water come out so fast when you turn it back on? Does the water just stay stored throughout the hose?

Is there a way we can find blueprints or a layout for the floorplan already made with out having to have an interior decorator or basement specialist come in and do it for us to help us best utilize the space?

I have a 3 level home, cellar, main, and upstairs. My hot air furnace heats the main properly and has the thermostat, but the upstairs north facing bedrooms remain cold in the winter. There are 4 cold air returns on main floor, but none upstairs, except the spiral stairwell. I have a pellet stove that runs in the cellar that keeps the main floor supplemented and warmer, thus not kicking on the air furnace too often. I put two open floor grates to let some cold air go into the cellar from the main floor, and I also tried putting a grate in my son's upstairs bedroom floor to allow some cold air to move downstairs. None of this has seemed to help the problem and it's still only 63 upstairs in his room. I know the pellet stove is keeping the furnace from starting, but how can I get that cold air to leave the north bedrooms upstairs? There are 3 heat registers upstairs including one in my son's room. I thought that putting the grate in his room would get some of the air moving.
