Usually, the word site refers to a construction site and the inspector checks the quality of the different stages of a construction job, before the building inspectors get involved; for example, site inspector might close the site if the permits are not in order, or if the workers don't use the prescribed safety equipment and clothing--boots, hats etc.

Site inspectors 'do' is what site inspectors leave in the toilet bowl before they flush it.

So I have heard, anyway. Never inspected that particular site and dont really want to. I hope site inspectors dont do it too often, is all.

Site inspectors inspect building (Or similar) sites. Depends on their discipline - some are to inspect for safety at the workplace etc, some are to inspect that the work is in accordance with the regulations.

Hope that helps finding out what site inspectors do, is. : - )

Site inspections are usually done by the Planning and Zoning departments. They are checking the land for any wetlands such as streams. They also check the pitch of the land and if the land is to be completely cleared if this will increase the water runoff
beyond what there zoning regs allow. This will then trigger the plan engineer to submit a drainage plan. What they are looking for on a proposed building lot(s) is if there is a negitive impact on the surrounding land adjacent to the building lot.

Hi Daved,

I know you've just joined Yahoo Answers today, buy i'm sure youve been writing English for longer. Can you re-phrase the question to get yourself a real answer rather than people taking the piss because your question doesn't make sense.
