It depends on the size of the tiles, and whether you are placing them on the floor or on the walls. I'd suggest that you go to the store, where you are planning to purchase the tiles, and give them the size of the room, and let them tell you. If it is for the walls, you will need the height of the room. Also try and make sure that it is an open pattern of the tiles, should you need to get more.

Since your room size is 229.5 sg.ft. you have to find out what size the tiles are that you want to buy. The tiles come in different sizes e.g, 12"x12" which would be 1 sg.ft.. If you are buying them yourself it will tell you on the box how many sg.ft. the full box will cover. When you buy them get extra and the same job lot number(on the box) or the colors may not match.

it does not mater what size tile you're using just tell them how many square feet you have and they will figure out how many tile's you need and you need some extra for waste too you 230square feet
