I am trying to install a new pipe from the wall valve to my toilet, but I can't unscrew the old part. It has probably been on there for years.

Current lawn is a sunny blend mix. Location: Indianapolis ,IN area.I have an irrigation system and the lawn is watered every other day or as conditions dictate. This appears to be an annual problem. In each case I overseed the lawn. Looks good in early spring but goes haywire following high temperature and humidity conditions.

My wife returned from the shops with 4 scatter cushions, when she put them on the sofa's they looked terrible, I returned to the shop with her to see if we could find something more suitable and was horrified to find she paid £90 for them in a sale and even more horrified when I found out we could not get a refund as they were purchased in the sale, we ended up buying a rug which cost another £115 on top of the price of the exchanged cushions,, so our bargain was a rug we had no intentions of buying for the bargian price of £205,, oh well at least the wife is pleased

What bargains did you get today ?

We recently moved from a large home to a small one with no carpets & my current vacuum is too big.
I have a dust allergy & a dog (so sweeping isn't enough) & the pooch is staying if I have to sleep outside. lol.
I was thinking of the swiffer vacuum but I need a crevice tool for cleaning the sofa & corners.
Thanks! :)

White flowers turned yellow from cigarette smoke.
Flowers are permanently glued in a vase with green leaves.
I do not want to ruin the leaves or vase by spraying bleach.
What else can I use?

They were used once or twice 40 years ago, and were in a closed cabinet ever since. Not out in the open or handled, yet seem dirty cloudy & yellow. Have been afraid to clean as don't want to ruin them. All insightful advice as to how to safely clean appreciated.
