It varies from company to company and from area to area. I'm in Arizona and found a termite company for $750.00 to treat a 1,600 sq. ft. house. Another company wanted to charge over $1,000.00.
Have around three companies come to your house and give you estimates. You should have a pretty wide range of prices to choose from.

it costs less than the repair bill for the damage they cause. Lowe's has a cutter ant /termite treatment that might work depending on the extent of the infestation. sunlight kills them so you will want to expose as much of the colony as possible. it is a must that you dig up and kill the queen.
