if it's a metal pipe, try heating one of the pipes. if you heat the right one, it will expand and allow you to unscrew the stuck pipe. but be extremely careful if you do this.

first thing to try is some good penetrating oil (like kroil or, if WD-40 if you can't find a real penetrating oil)
put it on the threads and let is soak for an hour or so
get a good wrench on both sides of the joint you are trying to turn
don't hurt yourself

if its metal try heating it up. if its plastic you maybe be able to get a solvent that will allow you unscrew it check homedepo and ask them in the plumbing department thoe guys know thier stuff.

use WD 40 an solution very well known and commanely available it is meant precisely for these purposes.
