I have a dehumidifier in my damp basement. It runs but the bucket never accumulates water. It use to accumulate water but now it doesn't. It goes on and off like it always has. Is it broken? Where is the water going? The basement is still much less damp as if the unit is still working. Thank you in advance for your help.

Well, I need to duplicate the key because my apartment's buzzer doesn't work and the manager won't get it opened. So I have to go down three floors to open the main gate. I live in Bay Area.

These are the biggest house flies we have ever seen in our lives! We have killed about 13 in about 24 hours! We noticed them last night and now we just got home and killed three more!!! Anyone have any ideas of why this is happening? What could the source be? The ONLY thing I can think of, and I have no idea if this is even related....when we changed our kity kitter (which is kept behind a spare room door, on a carpet door matt which is sitting on carpet) we noticed the cats must have been peeing on the door mat because it was soaked through to the actual carpet in the room. We cleaned it up and vaccummed and through out the door mat, replacing it with the one that was in our main hallway. Anyone have any ideas?

Most people grow roses from clipings, and this seems to work well, but I have had NO luck with it, but what about from seed? The hip of a rose has seeds, will these grow fast at all, or even grow? And how well? Is there a difference?? How do I go about planting them, a green house for starters, right?....Okay, so as you see I know nothing about growing roses from seed, I need help!!

I have a new A/C (1 yr old). I have it set on 74 degrees. Its 95-100degrees outside. My house is 81. The A/C guy said as long as it is 20 degrees below what the temp is outside, the A/C is working. They told me that last year. That doesn't seem right! I paid alot of $$ for that thing and I expect it to be 74 degrees. Am I wrong?

I live in a rental unit without a screen door but I love to keep my front door open when the weather is nice. The only problem is is that shortly after I open my door I get a small swarm of bugs flying around the middle of the room. How can I keep them from cooming into my home if I want to keep my front door open?

I have dining chairs, but not a formal table. I was considering using a folding table and dressing it up with formal table linens. Has anyone tried this and how did it turn out?

Our dog has turned into a "digger" and has dug everywhere around our yard to escape. We fill in the holes and she moves to another spot. She doesn't even have to be outside for 5 minutes, before she is out. It is getting pretty ridiculous.
