These are the biggest house flies we have ever seen in our lives! We have killed about 13 in about 24 hours! We noticed them last night and now we just got home and killed three more!!! Anyone have any ideas of why this is happening? What could the source be? The ONLY thing I can think of, and I have no idea if this is even related....when we changed our kity kitter (which is kept behind a spare room door, on a carpet door matt which is sitting on carpet) we noticed the cats must have been peeing on the door mat because it was soaked through to the actual carpet in the room. We cleaned it up and vaccummed and through out the door mat, replacing it with the one that was in our main hallway. Anyone have any ideas?

Somewhere in the house you have rotten meat or poo, which flies lay their eggs in. It takes a while for the eggs to hatch into maggots, which eventually turn into flies.

if you empty all your wastebaskets and kitty boxes regularly, the other possibility is that the cats killed a mouse or something, which is rotting away somewhere and providing fly food.

Kids are supposed to be more open to seeing ghosts so it could be that he is seeing one, I would think he's a bit young for an imaginary friend so it would seem that way. Try to get him to explain what he sees and if he is scared of it. I know it's difficult with him being so young but I would say that's the best thing to do. Generally, most ghosts mean no harm so it could be no problem at all. On the other hand, there could be nothing there and you're just not used to the noises of the house with you being new to it. Is there a chance that the blonde girl outside is actually very much alive and just walking outside? Or could she be explained by some perfectly logical reason? I think there's too many options to explore just yet before jumping to conclusions about a scary ghost. Best of luck.

Same thing happened to me end of August. Giant and I mean 20 or more suddenly appear indoors when nobody left anything out. Turns out our trash can has a lid that doesn't fit well, so I ordered a new trash can and that hopefully will fix the issue. Also, if anyone recently put bait out for mice its possible one is under the house and causing it as well.

certain times a year flies have whats called a hatchout. there could be a nest of eggs somewhere, most times they are outside on the side of your house. the side that gets most of the sun. just try to find where they are and spray an insecticide. if that doesnt work call a tech.
