The wallpaper is red, made by Stroheim & Romann. We've tried hot water, hot water & vinegar, and a diluted solution of wallpaper stripper. Nothing has worked so far! I called the manufacturer and they say too much time has passed to safelt remove the glue. It runs along all the seams and is also present on the surface of the paper. I'll try anything! Thanks.

I really hate ironing...is there a way or secret to do laundry and having your clothes wrinkle free after drying them. (sorry no budget for drycleaners)

....a 4 bedroom home with a nice kitchen? Or a 3 bedroom home with a nicer bigger kitchen? We are going to redo the kitchen no matther what. And we are looking to sell the home next year. We can redo the kitchen the size as it is--with some definite improvements pretty inexpensively. The problem is the house is old and the dining area is separate. Not really the big trend. Either way, the house has room to expand to whoever buys the house. The upstairs has two super huge bedrooms. An addition could easily add 2 more bedrooms. Or if left as a 4 br, the new owner could easily knock down the existing 4 br to make a big kitchen. These are the two trends that are happening---and our competition...we won't be doing the addition for sure. But, we do need to fix up our kitchen. Knocking down the wall would add to our expenses....so the big question is do we do it, or leave it for the next owner. Thoughts?

We just bought a house and I don't think the previous owners washed the windows in the last few years; there is a buildup that is like a gray or white-ish film. I've tried Windex and professional strength window cleaner and also CLR, nothing yet has worked. How do I wash it away?

3 in the living room & 2 in the Bedroom, (no water source in either. there is sure no moist place in my closet, or around and under the couch. Were I live its approx. 115 in the shade. (no joke). Also I thought that scorpions developed pigment before even leaving the mothers back. All five of these are White White. See through white, and they move faster than those little feild mice. I know that the female has approx 25 babies and for these 5 to be found on opposite sides of the house. I think I have at least another 15 more to go. (well 16 the last 1 got away to fast) I have baby kittens & dont want them to get hurt, A couple of the kittens have already tried to play with that scorpion. I don't want them poisened either,, So Any help would be much apreciated. Q&A Does baking soda repel them at all? or was that ants? Are they Deadly? How do I locate all of them and kill them or can I repell them with something from around the house thats not toxic to babies human or feline?

These pine trees are not growing in southern New England. What type of trees are they; does anyone know their name? They were found growing in the wild along Rt 95.

There is a plant in my building at work that my friend loves but we have no idea what it is. I would like to find it and give it to her for her birthday.

Description: It has Dark Purple leaves (that kinda look like butterflies resting from afar. Then some of them have a little (what looks like) lilac/or white flower blooming on them.

Sorry if my description is crappy but if you have any idea of what this flower if please let me know. And if you can link me to a picture that would be helpful.

Thanks You for your in advance.

I guess the workers put in that caulking that smells like vinegar (the acidic type) and since the bathroom sink cabinet has its doors closed most of the time, the smell just gets trapped in there. Is there a way to get rid of that smell once the caulking is in place?

I have read that you should use the type that does not smell, but it is too late for that now, since I did not do the work.

I've never had one before, so I'm probably not taking good care of it. It is in a glass right now in tap water, sitting in the sun. Should I be using distilled water, or some mix of water and fertilizer? I really don't know.

It seemed to thrive best when it was part of a small fishtank, but the fish are now all dead.

We have three refridgerated units and three electric heaters on a very well insulated two bedroom house (one in the kitchen, one in the living room, and one between the two bedrooms) and when in the kitchen, we close off all doors and turn on that unit, when we leave we turn it off, same for when we are in the livingroom (where we spend the most time) and at night we close the door between the living room and the bedrooms, turn on the unit in the hall, and leave our bedroom doors open. My question is, are we causing ourselves to have a higher electric bill this way? Should we invest in central heat and air, which controls the temperature of whole house? The units we use are fairly new and claim to be electric-friendly, but I will admit that it is a little bit of a pain in the butt to keep turning units off and on. Initial comfort of entering a room that is too hot/cold is not a concern. Thanks in advance & have a great day.
