We have large old evergreens about 4 feet high. If we cut them back to the wood and leave a foot worth of branches, will it regenerate? Any tips? How long before it looks like a shrub again?

Hi all,

anyone else have problem with kids that live nearby setting off fireworks? I came home last night to my apartment, and as I came to the door noticed a lot of burn marks and pieces of explosive fireworks right close to my front door. I assume that nearby kids lit these off when I was gone. I looked around and didn't see them anywhere else but at my area. I talked to my apartment security personnel just to see if they have had complaints about this and they said no. I do hear fireworks still being lit off from time to time the past month.

I really can't do anything because I don't know who did it and I don't know if any rules were broken, certainly it could have been a fire hazard as it was pretty closely set off to the wooden front door. Should I talk to apartment management about this? Not that they can do anything about it, but maybe it was a one time thing and just blow it off? What do you think?

This just started, sure hope my water bill doesn't sky rocket as a result. After it has dripped for so long, it seems to flush all by itself or maybe refill the water that's being lost. Hellllllllllp & thanking you in advance.
