I live in an upstairs condo. I have a small window air conditioning unit. I was going to install it on a shelf outside the window, but my guys said it is fine sitting on the window ledge backed up to the screen of the window and lowering the window down on top of it, as it has exhaust and intake. Any air conditioning experts out there who could tell me if this is a less efficient way for it to run, or is it all right?

this is no ordinary running toilet!
it doesn't continually run, it will just suddenly sound like someone has flushed it (not a complete flush, just the refilling part of the flush), but no one is anywhere near it. this will continually happen throughout the day, for more then one day, till eventually there is no water left in the tank
I've completely replaced the entire flushing mechanism, but no help
ruling out the possibility that I might have a toilet flushing ghost in my house, any serious suggestions would be greatly appreciated

nothing helps . people smell it when i come close to them , also some one that has office on the first floor smells it .he has to shower and wash his clothes every day to get rid of the smell .please help me find a soloution

My neighbors TV room is right next to my driveway. She keeps an eye on what is going on outside all the time. She knows when my car leaves the garage and when I am outside or not.

She left a message at my house this morning asking if I was sick, because she saw my husband pulling weeds in the garden the other day. what?!

If she is keeping track of who is doing what at our house (outside), is this an invasion of our privacy?

Just because I am not pulling weeds, and my husband is, there MUST be something wrong with me? oh brother.

I understand my neighbor is in her 70s, and is home a lot watching TV, but I feel that she is being nosey just a little too much.

Any thoughts?

I paid $900 almost two and a half years ago in 300 unit apparment buliding. I moved out three weeks ago. The buliding manger was or is a super bully and now they not only pay my deposit back, but also they charge me for things that are never true at all. How can I fight them?
