Use a Mr. Clean Magic eraser! I don't know how they work so well but they really are magic! Trust me , you have to try this! They removed ink from an exploded pen off of a wood floor and were the ONLY thing that removed all the old stains from my countertop. I swear by them!

How did it get dirty? Anyway it would probably be a pain in the butt to clean it so you should probably just get a new one. Thats what I would do if it was really dirty. But if you don't want a new one then you could just get some wipes and wipe it down.

try using a soft dampened clothe with murphy's oil soap.they sell it at walmart in the hpuse hold cleanings supplies.
