I bought an old dresser that's beautiful but needs to be sanded. I bought a good sander and started at it tonight, but omg!!! Its going to take me 100 years of sanding to get this done. There must be a better way. I was thinking maybe some kind of scraper, you know those things that look like a cheese slicer that could take off a thin layer to get me started. I don't want to use chemicals...can anyone please give some time saving advice?

Seems like a ploy for the dry cleaners, like some deal made between apparel manufacturers and the dry cleaning industry.

My wife is from Montana, and loved the kinnikinick that grew wild by her house. We would like to plant some kinnikinick groundcover (low lying evergreen groundcover, also called bearberry) in our backyard in the Denver area. We have not been able to locate any in the nurseries near Denver, Colorado that we have visited.

Does anyone know a nursery or other place where we could buy some for our backyard?

They used to sell pie fillings, flavorings, home decorative items and kitchen helps. They had it so that you could be a dealer and sell their products. Back in the late 80's. What ever happened to that company? All I can find is that Blair site that sells clothing etc. but that is not the same company.

I found a tick crawling on my arm just a couple minutes ago. I have been home for over 3 hours so I don't think I got it from outside.

I can cook burgers and steaks fully clothed, but for some reason when the hot dogs and brats hover over the coals I get naked.
