I look at the job and visualize how long it's going to take. I've been doing this for over 20 years, so as I'm looking it over I can tell if it's going to take a half hour to prep a window or four hours, or how long it will take to patch and caulk, and I write it all down, and tally it all up and multiply the number of hours times my hourly rate, then add 20% for unforeseen difficulties. But I'm really good.

Some give standard bids based on square footage and number of windows. If a painter isn't concerned with quality, then the details of the particular house aren't particularly important.

good question. very like asking what's the fee of freedom. in my opinion i do no longer think in a perpetual state of hapiness and that i purely have self assurance interior the opportunity of relative hapiness. yet very like freedom comes on the fee of a lot warfare, blood, and adult adult males, so happiness comes by a lot suffering and suffering , and emotional angst. In those circumstances although the result's worth it, alongside with a lot discovered alongside the way.
