Women's Health - October 2007

Presented with bloating, cramping, and lower pelvic pain. Ultrasound was clear...minimal fluid in cul-de-sac. Upper Gi with small bowel follow through was clear. Blood work is good. Pap Came back normal.
Continuous cramps and low pelvic pain with mucus coming out throughout the month. Sometimes it is pink sometimes clear. No infections, no STD's.
Symptoms have been persistent for 3 months.
All tests have came back normal. New symptom for less than a week is bubbles in urine...in the Not foamy so much as it looks like bubbles.
Any ideas?
Age 35, tubal ligation in 1998, no birth control, haven't been sexually active in four months.

my mother is 62, her menopause started 3 years ago, she decided against hormonal therapy. she experience shortness of breath (need for taking a bigger breath) . her echocardiogram, blood tests and ekg did not show any problems, but those can not exclude heart problems i heard.

should she undergo coronary computer angio to rule out heart problems ? (but i know that level of radiation is huge 50-100 times normal chest x-raying ....

they seem to hang out below the outer labia a bit and i am really self conscious about them.its really affecting my life!is it meant to look like that...i just dont know! im considering having surgery to reduce them.could anyone tell me who to contact and what are the prices for this?also has anyone else had this done? im too shy to talk to a nurse about it.help!

I am a 40 yr. old woman who no longer has med. Ins.(My husband was laid off from his job of 10 yrs when the plant closed down) I need hormones due to a hystorectomy. I haven't had any for 6 mos. I am going crazy! I am also supposed to be taking adderall (but I can live w/out it if I have to), & also haven't had that for 6 mos.
I feel like it is affecting my work & my everyday life! I am married & have 3 kids, they are suffering too. Does anyone know how I can get help, or assistance w/ any of this?

hi i am 13 and i think i just got my period but not sure. ive been getting dark brown discharge for 1 and a 1/2 months. yesterday i had lots of dark brown discharge yesterday and today. in the evening i went to the toilet and saw blotches of dark red stuff which didnt look like blood cos it was clotty. and then i saw pink or red stuff around it. is this my first period?

ok about a month or so ago i got the depo brith control shot for the first time. i never found out whether or not theres a wiat period before sex after u have the shot. do u no if there is a wait period? also, lets say u didnt wait the 'grace' period and got pregnent, would the shot totally screw up ur possible baby?

I had my appendix taken out about 2 weeks ago and they discovered a cyst on my ovaries and took it off. i havent had my period this month yet and im passed my expected date. i know im not pregnant could the cyst removal have any affect on my cycle?
