What the heck is wrong with people. There's a reason why we eat 3 meals a day, because we HAVE to! Unless you want to starve yourself, which is always a WONDERFUL idea. Are you kidding me? The only reason you'll gain weight on birth control is if you pig out. Just taking the pill alone isn't going to make you balloon. Some people even LOSE weight when taking birth control.
Don't screw with your body like that. Stop worrying so much.

You need to eat more than once a day, or else your body will suffer from not eating properly.
Working out is just great overall.
Depending on what type of birth control you end up on, you might not get any weight gain. I'm on Kariva (pill) and haven't had any weight gain.

You won't gain weight on the pill unless you don't eat right. you need to eat more than once a day if you gonna run. You need to eat at least 3-4 meals a day. Birth control increases your appetite, just control it and eat healthy and exercise the right way.

You won't gain a lot of weight on birth control. Once you find a pill that's suited for you, you should have no problems and can eat and exercise as normal.
I have been on the pill for 14 years and I have not gained weight on it. I have been able to lose weight on it (I had gained weight before going on it).

not everyone gains weight on the pill. eating only once a day is NEVER healthy for anyone. It will totally slow down your metabolism and make losing weight extremely difficult. Just eat healthy and exercise. Eating a few small meals through out the day is much healthier than one big one.

Birth control does not usually cause weight gain, it can sometimes be weight loss, while I was on the pill, with healthy eating habits I lost 20 pounds.

You dont really gain that much weight on the pill.....usually about 5 pounds I think. Condoms are birth control and by using them, you can stay anorexic all you want....no weight gain except from the after sex cravings for ice cream.

If you eat healthy and exercise like everyone should then you will not gain weight. Eating healthy means covering the food pyramid and getting enough calories and all the other good nutrients your body needs every day.
