ok about a month or so ago i got the depo brith control shot for the first time. i never found out whether or not theres a wiat period before sex after u have the shot. do u no if there is a wait period? also, lets say u didnt wait the 'grace' period and got pregnent, would the shot totally screw up ur possible baby?
another thing, ive been bleeding almost constantly since about a week after i got the shot, havnt stopped at all, and my vigina doesnt like it very much. ive been quite sore dude to having to have a pad or tampon on all the time. any help there?

Bleeding like that is totally normal. Some bleed for months, some have a regular period, some don't bleed at all, and some spot at odd times of the month.

You should have asked about when the shot will be effective. Just remember it is not 100% effective so any time you have sex you CAN get pregnant.

Usually the nurse will do a pregnancy test if you are concerned about pregnancy before you get your next shot.

I've heard that the shot is very unhealthy for your body, it can mess up things in your feminine parts, and it really messes with your menstration cycle. I would take the type to look up the pros and cons of taking the shot. I would consider getting off of it and taking the pill. Sure they are a little more time consuming, but I'd rather take a pill then have the symptoms you seem to be having.
