i found out about this today when the office called to confirm i was comming later, and i answered the phone.when my mom got home i asked her why i had an appointment at the gynecologist, and she told me that it was to get birth control. i flipped out on her and she told me it was to 'regulate my hormones.' im honestly very hurt by that. lately ive been very happy. [this summer i got sort of depressed for a month, but who wouldnt when every last one of their friends backstabbed them?] if she was concirned about my mental heath, she should have taken me to see a psychiatrist. obviously she thinks im going to be having sex. im very hurt by that, im 13 years old and she should know well enough that i would never. im a good kid, i get good grades in school, i dont dress like a sl ut, i hang out with nice people, so i dont know what drove her to that assumption.[she has said things also that kind of mentioned it, so im not overreacting.] what should i do?

well i've been trying to conceive since jan...the last 5 months my period has been irregular this month ive been sleepy my breast are sore ocassional cramps nausea..and i missed my period im waitin till next month to take a test but i was just wondering could i be pregnant?...

i dont want it to prevent pregnancy. im not having sex. but i want it because my period absolutely sucks! i get so emotional. i'll cry for really no reason, i'll scream and get angry with those i love, and the cramps and back pain is the worst pain i have ever experianced. im 16 so i'm pretty sure i'm old enough. the main reason i want it is because i heard your period gets worse as you age, and they are terrible now so they will be worse than unbearable later

I had a pelvic and pap smear which was my first ever last tuesday night. My doctor says they will call if something is wrong. If the pap happened to come back abnormal do you think the doctor would have called by now? It will be exactly a week tonight. For those of you who have had somthing wrong with your pap, how long after your appt did the doctor tell you? Thanx

Ok, this sounds sort of embarrassing but...my vaginal area is really itchy right now... and i dont know why...? ;___;
Well im going to be getting my period soon (cause im cramping up), could that be the reason why it itches so bad?

Im not sure if its a Yeast infection though(never had one to my knowledge). Theres no discharge, it just really itches and burns on the edges of the vulva lips. @____@
I cant stop scratching... but when i do stop its usually better for a while unless my underwear starts chafing me.. ;___;

Also.. its not an STD because i've never had sex. :P

Hmm...im not sure if this would have anything to do with it...but
im taking medication for my lymph nodes and i guess one of the side effects is a Yeast infection..? =___=
But..the itching started before i got the meds so... :P

Should i try some vagisil or monastat? :P

last month i think i was on my period but i'm not really sure... reason being is b/c it wasn't red instead it was brown and it wasn't alot lk it usually is. it only lasted a week and i'm kinda scared about it for some reason.

My friend is very very very self conscious(spelling?). I am 13, 4 foot 8 inches and I only weigh 68 lbs. I am not underweight(even though the bmi things say I am) and my shoe size is only a 2. Well, my friend is always comparing herself to me(she is 5 foot 4 inch, 12 years old and weighs about 140 with a size 9 shoe. She also has to wear a big bra(32b). I tell her she's not fat or have big boobs/feet but she won't listen. How can I help her and do you really think she is that big? I tell her she just hit puberty early, but she just doesnt listen. I'm very unfamiliar with this and would like to learn more about it.... by the way I'm only 21 yrs. old. Is it a serious condition? Is is common? What causes it? Treatment? and MOST IMPORTANTLY will it affect my ability to become pregnant. I am a mother to a 5 month old could giving birth cause this? OKay well i know its like the merina that last for 5 yrs i had that one for 6 months but they didnt put it in right and i wanted to be able to get my body back to normall know im conctering going back on brith control so i dont get pregnant. My mood swings and emotions become so extreme right before my cycle. I'm talking full blown crying fits and feelings of hopelessness and severe agitation. I never had these symptoms until about a year ago. I have also noticed that my level, in general, of energy has completely decreased. Is this a hormonal thing? What is changing in my body?

Hi I am 37 and haven't had a period since Aug. 1 and was put on Provera to try to help me start. I have never been more than a few days late. Has anyone had this problem or does anyone know what this could mean?
