Hi I am 37 and haven't had a period since Aug. 1 and was put on Provera to try to help me start. I have never been more than a few days late. Has anyone had this problem or does anyone know what this could mean?
Thanks
Pam

Talk to your doctor about it. He should know you do not have your period yet.

Btw, she is talking about Provera to INDUCE periods, not depo provera the contraceptive.

you could be in the time line for menopause. Is there a chance of a baby on the way? what about your thyroid levels? Mental Stress? what other birth control were you on before? Are you epileptic? would encourage you not to use Provera until you look at all the symptoms that are occurring with this condition. You would like to have an answer before you let the doctor put a band-aid with Provera.
