My sister just told me that she has a lump in her breast.. and she has to get it biopsied.
She said she didn't tell anyone because she didn't think anyone would care..but she told me tonight.
So now I don't know what to do with the information...
She's 24, so shes an adult, but I feel like our mom should know this.. but at the same time I feel like she confided in me.. and I don't want her not to trust me..
So what do you think I should do?
Do I tell my mom, because its a serious health issue, or do I keep my mouth shut until I know how the biopsy went...
We have breast cancer in my family which is the only reason I'm so nervous, because now I feel all of the women should be getting check ups..
Any advice is appreciated..

Well my period came 1 wk early on Oct 11 and wasn't spotting but was lighter then normal. It lasted 3 days then stopped completly. I took 2 hpt tests and both were Negative. (they were far apart from eachother. ) Then i have had some nipple pain and a lil chest pain. Today i had some pink on my toilet paper and so i put a tampon in and then later took it out it wasnt heavy bleeding or anything and it had that red chunky stuff on it. What could it be? Season changes, stress, or what cuz im tired of worrying and i dont have a doc yet.

My doctor suggested I switch from Ortho-tri cyclen Lo to Levora. I've been on Lo for over a year and a half and I've never experienced the bloating, breaking out or weight gain that is usually associated with birth control.
He said to dispose of the placebo pills, making it so that I have no period at all. Is this normal/safe?
I've tried to look online to find some info, but I haven't gotten much.
Can anyone tell me the side effects of Levora, and whether or not I'll experience a big difference? Anything would be of assistance.
Thanks.

My GF is not pregnant, but her menstrual cycle is delayed and her blood test report says she has a high level of muscle enzymes. Are these inter-related in any way?

my girlfriend was on paxil for a few years which messed up her menstrual cycle. She got off it about seven months ago but still hasnt got her period. what could be wrong? could she have damaged something that can stop her from having babies in the future? what happens to all the blood? does it just collect inside?

and immediately noticed that my appetite has gone way down. Before I would have to always be chewing on/eating something especially when reading or just sitting in one spot.
W/ in 24 hours of when I started my appetite hasn't bothered me once. I can do my homework and read for hours on end without thinking of hunger. I can get through the morning until lunch time w/o my stomach growling like crazy like it used to.
I'm not complaining at all... I'm just curious if this is a normal reaction?

I hate keeping up with my stupid period but my husband and I (well I at least) don't want a baby right now. I want to do some more traveling first.

i get so angry when the friends of the guy i like always have to say something about my flat chest and how no guy would ever look my way because of that. i'm just glad my crush backs me up, he does agree though that i have a flat chest, i can't deny it either cause its true, but he points out i have great curves and that what really matters is that its fun and enjoyable to be around me.
but back to my question:

why do guys care so much about breast size???
{we're high schoolers and i use a 32A bra size, btw}

I am getting a slight irritation and i dont know why.
Just recently i've began to to leak (like i cannot hold water). I dont mean literally wetting myself or having to go to the bathroom continously or anything. But i feel water runs out of me a lot. I know some of this is normal alf way through to having your next period, but this is rather embarrasing. Especially because it seems like a weak and odored type of bladder water.
I dont drink a lot really.
Culd this commonly be bladder weakness?
