First you can go to your doctor or to family planning and tell them that you want to get on birth control. And they will help you out with that. You will probably have to do an exam and answer a lot of question. But at the end it is worth it. And if you have any question you can just go and ask them. There at that place they will help you out.

See your doctor. You'll first need to have a physical exam including a pap smear. The doctor will prescribe you a type of birth control pill and you will start them the monday after your next period.

Set up an appt with a gynocolegist or a doctor that provides "woman's wellness exams" or go to a planned parenthood center to get a regular check up and tell them that you would like to start up on birth control. They will help you decide which one is best for you.

The first thing you would need to do is to check with your gyno to see what bc works best for you. There are tons on the market right now and they all have different side effects.

Go see a gynecologist. Your family dr. could write a prescription, too, but she's not as up-to-date on current pills. Your dr's office can refer you to a gynecologist, or ask a friend...

Go to your Gynecologist and ask for them and they will give you the right kind. That is a very wise decision.
