This is a difficult statistic to find. I work in international public health, and most data lumps all forms of "modern contraceptives" together. (The statistic is called "Contraceptive Prevalence Rate.") Also, finding global statistics on anything is extremely challenging. Think about it - how challenging would it be to survey people in developing countries that have little infrastructure, rough terrain, etc.? Surveys are conducted in many developing countries, but most national-level statistics are a sophisticated process of educated guessing. (Not that they can't be trusted - it's just virtually impossible to collect data from everyone!) Even in the US, health information is not collected from all residents/citizens in the country.

using condoms is a contentious decision between you and god. not between you and priest.
the principal is not discussed in the bible. if god was so concerned about it he would have wrote about it. and trust me he wrote about all aspects of life.
