My friend is very very very self conscious(spelling?). I am 13, 4 foot 8 inches and I only weigh 68 lbs. I am not underweight(even though the bmi things say I am) and my shoe size is only a 2. Well, my friend is always comparing herself to me(she is 5 foot 4 inch, 12 years old and weighs about 140 with a size 9 shoe. She also has to wear a big bra(32b). I tell her she's not fat or have big boobs/feet but she won't listen. How can I help her and do you really think she is that big? I tell her she just hit puberty early, but she just doesnt listen. Thank you for the help!

To be honest, she's fine, and u might be a little under :P
but seriously...tell her to compare herself to other people, not just u...average shoe size is about a 7-9 for her age anyways, and she's tall, so it doesnt matter how much she weighs...plus, in a few years, girls will all wish she had boobs like hers!!

Everyone grows differently when they're young. It's totally possible that she'll be one of the shortest adults once the two of you are grown and you may be one of the tallest. Tell her to like herself for who she is, and not to compare herself to everyone else, it's unhealthy and starts a bad pattern that she'll continue for a long time.

I would recommend that you have a discussion with her mom to let your friend's mom know how concerned you are about your friend. Let your mom's friend know what you have tried to tell her and wanted to let her know what is going on.
