i have been having cramps the last two days but my period isnt here yet! i know that it runs in my family that some women still have there period while being prgnant, but i havent had sex in a few months

Stress, illness & taking medication can affect your cycle, cramps are generated by your hormones. Since, your symptoms are typical of your family herstory, I wouldn't worry. If they con't without bleeding, it wouldn't hurt to go for a check-up with your doc. Women can have breakthrough bleeding while pregnant, you haven't been sexual for a while, I doubt this applies to you.

If you havent had sex and had a period afterwards you are apparently not pregnant. I get cramps a good week before my period starts and no this hasn't always happenedd. I used to start getting cramps bad and knew that my period would start that day, but not now. It could be something like an ovarian cyst or a condition known as endometrisosis... if you are concerned go to the ob/gyn.

I always had that, I would cramp and few days later my period would start. It was like a warning for me. It's one of the reasons I started taking birth control.
