My doctor told me to start taking the antibiotics today (Tuesday) and stop taking tthem on Sunday. Is it ok to have sex on Saturday?

Nothing! Not related.

However you should avoid having sex if you feel discomfort or soreness.

I don't think anything will happen, although it might cause you some pain and discomfort with sexual intercourse.

I recently had a UTI (urinary tract infection) and was given antibiotics too which ended up giving me thrush and from what I have heard, thrush can be spread to your partner if you don't use protection.

Drinking cranberry juice helps ease the UTI too I was told by my doctor.

It's best to abstain from sexual intercourse until you have finished the meds and your infection has totally cleared or else it will not go away and you may end up getting a worse infection.

as long as you have started antibotics on sunday you will be unlikley to pass it on but if you are uncomfortable having sex sat whats waiting an extra day till you finish

it could make it worse... My cousin gets them frequently and says sex makes it worse for days after

yes but always pee after intercourse tof lush out everything so you want get another U.T.I. !! this helps really !
