Sweetie, I'm afraid it hasnt been discharge you've been having. You started your period!!! Congratulations! You're a woman!!
You may feel uncomfortable, but you had better tell your mom or whatever female you live with. It might be embaressing, but I promise she'll understand.
When I started [I was 11 or 12] I told my mom and I was soo nervous, but she totally understood. & Afterwords, I felt this sort of bond and she was really nice[r] to me.
(:
Good luck babe!

Yes that is your period. I was the same age and I had alot of dark brown discharge. I suggest you tell your parents. I kept it secret for a year and didn't tell anyone because i really didn't know what it was.

Sounds like it. Because every girls first period varies some peoples may be heavier or lighter than yours, you may or may not get cramps. I found a site that has general information but i would encourage you to talk to a female relative or parent that you trust to ask about it as well- because you my want more advice as well.

if it is your period I hope you are one of the blessed ones that don't have cramps!

I know everyone is telling u to talk to ur Mom, but if u can't talk to ur mom, or u don't have one, a dad can b helpfull too!
My dad knew exactly what to do when I told him that I had started my period & he was very good about it! He even went to the store for pads!..lol I don't know ur situation but if u don't have a gurl to talk to, then speak w/ a male that u trust, & I bet it will be easier than u think.
You might even gain something from it, I used to tell my dad that I needed $$ (even when I didn't) & he would say "for what?" & I would say "gurl things" & he would give me $$, I'm sure he prolly knew though .....lol He was a great Dad!
Good Luck & welcome to Womanhood!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

probably. you need to talk to your mom about it.
she has been having periods and has even had babies so she knows a lot about it. you have to learn to use pads and tampons etc. and buy them. talk to your mom.
