So, my mom is now making me get a physical checkup. I hate going.....the last time i went was like 3 years ago. Plus I'm not fully comfortable with my doctor, my old doctor was an elderly lady and she was very nice and comforting but she retired and now i have a new doctor and well she's not very maternal If you know what I mean....None of the mushy gushy stuff, very staright forward. I really don't want to go, but I know I'm gonna have to. II don't have the sexiest body, in fact i hate my body and I also hate waiting for the doctor to stop looking at me when I'm naked.....So my question is What do they do at a Physical check up? And what do you think about/ do when they're looking down there? P.S. Ladies do you shave down there for your physical?

Info: I'm a female teenager....

I've heard from women who have not had a single problem with getting one done by a Naval surgeon,(or just military in general) but I just wanted to hear more opinions. My husband is active duty, and my breasts are giving me back problems. I was also wondering if there is a lot of scarring afterwards. I love to run, but I don't love wearing 3 sport bras, lol, and the back aches are terrible. So any information about breast reductions would be very helpful. Thanks!

The reason I'm asking is because my boyfriend needs to go get them for me, because of other personal reasons [no way I could back out from them unless I confessed, and that'd defeat the purpose]. So, I need to know if a guy [18+] can purchase the morning after pill?

It says on the website that it's for women to pick up, but it says nothing about how men cannot buy it.

Thanks in advance!

My gyno put me on provera to start my periods. I took it for 10 days and a few days later I began my period. I did the ovulation predictor strips and I did ovulate. When should I take the provera again? My period should come the 10th of September. Do I wait and see if I get it or take the provera?

If you are a woman, do you absolutely HAVE to get your blood tested during the first five days of your period? Mine won't start until about a day or so before I'm supposed to get my first dose.

Also, do you have to get your blood tested in the same town as your dermatologist?

I'm 21 and I just changed doctors. When i asked my previous doctor about getting the cervical cancer vaccine the doctor said I didn't need it because I'm not sexually active. My current doctor says I should, better safe than sorry. I can't decide. I've read the side effects and I'm a little spooked. It says fever is one of the side effects and that seems to be what happens to me whenever I get vaccinated for anything. it usually only lasts for a few hours. I've also never had a pap smear and I keep hearing that I should have them done regularly starting at 18. How important is it that I get the test and the vaccine done?

I had my wisdom teeth out and forgot to take my birth control for several days, then found out that BC increases the chance of dry sockets. I have tried to take it when I remember, but the days are so random that I don't know what to do to get back on track. What do you do in this case?

It is a silicon cup that you insert into the vagina and it acts basically as a dam. You only take it out 3 to 4 times a day. Has anyone had any experience with these?

Im 5'3.25. Im 12. The height calculators say I will be about 5'6 to 5'7 and sometimes 5'8. I take more after my dad... sorta "big boned" My mom has a rather small bone structure. Im not sure if I should trust those calculators. Are these calculators right on or way off? I want to be at least 5'7....

i had a baby 4 months ago. now im kind of worried i may be pregnant because im having some symptoms but i think it may be more hormones. let me know what you think!
- i got my real period at the start of july
- bled 2 times that month (more than spotting- pretty much a period)
-i had started bc that month so im not sure if i ovulated other than the first time i had a period.
-stopped birth control when my third bout of bleeding started.
-assuming i should be expecting my period anytime now
-started producing milk again a few days ago - white like milk but sticky like colostrum
-my nipples have become darker brown rather than pink, like while i was preggo
-breasts are somewhat tender - not too bad tho.
-had trouble sleeping on my stomach last few nights - it feels uncomfortable in my lower belly.

my question is -WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?? haha i know it may be hard to answer, i do have a drs appt coming up on sept 5th but i just want some peace of mind.what could this b

The reason I ask is because I am planning on walking with my co-workers in honor of one of their mothers, but I am overweight and wonder if there are other "larger" people walking. Now, I have two jobs (40-45 hours a week) where I stand on my feet, walk around a lot and carry heavy things, so I am pretty confidant that I can do the walk, I just worry about standing out and being the last person in, slowing down my co-workers and stuff. It's only 3.1 miles right?
