i use tampons and i go swimming with them. but im afraid if i play in the sand that the sand will get in my swimsuit. It usually does. does this matter if i have my period?

No it won't matter, just shower like you usually do after leaving the beach. Shower at the beach or wait till you get home and shower off the sand.

don't even go near the ocean when you are on your period!!!!!!!!!!! or stay on land!!!! things like sharks can smell blood from hundreds of miles away...did you ever hear about that woman in corpus christi who got her leg ripped off because she was sitting in the water and was wearing a tampon????? just don't do it
