I put the pad so its covering the furthest back it can go. When it leaks, its either on one side or ther other in the back where the pad isnt covering.

Maybe you should try tampons. You CAN wear them overnight for up to 8 hours.

I don't know what brand of pad you wear, but the overnight variety of Always and Stayfree offers reasonable protection.

If that is not an option right now, you can supplement your pad with a tampon or you can cover the back of your underwear with a panty liner or another pad (depending on how heavy your period is).

try adjusting the pad so that it will cover the area that it is leaking out at. its what i had to do when i was younger and had really heavy periods. mine always leaked out in the back where the pad wasnt covering so i would adjust the pad to be further towards the back and it wouldnt leak then. And some times id just stick a panty liner across the back of my panties. I know that sounds stupid but it worked for me. sorry thats all i can realy think of

use two. i used two always thin overnight pads..it's like a diaper lol, but it keeps my undies clean and my sheets too!

ps. you can also take birth control pills to help regulate period and less blood, so you wont bleed as much
