I've heard from women who have not had a single problem with getting one done by a Naval surgeon,(or just military in general) but I just wanted to hear more opinions. My husband is active duty, and my breasts are giving me back problems. I was also wondering if there is a lot of scarring afterwards. I love to run, but I don't love wearing 3 sport bras, lol, and the back aches are terrible. So any information about breast reductions would be very helpful. Thanks!

I've already got the papers in work, and they said I am covered to have it for free in a couple months. Maybe it's becuase I'm in a different area than you becuase all the women I spoke with said they got it done for free.

I was in the Navy 1994 - 1998 and I did not trust the Navy doctors at ALL!

You've got to find someone who has done plenty of breast reductions and make sure you look at their before and afters (and how long after) as well as getting recommendations.

Scarring can take up to a year to fade. A good surgeon and a good patient will help the scars to fade. Scarguard and Mederma were excellent on my scars.

I have TONS more information about mine if you want to hear it, send me your email and I'll send it to you.

Breast reduction surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Tour2india4health Consultants .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.

Tour2india4health Consultants is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.
