A couple of weeks to a month should do it.

I've been on Metformin for 2 years. For me it varies. It depends on the food I eat. If I eat a lot of carbs or greasy food, I will get bloated and be very uncomfortable.

So my suggestion to you is staying away from carbs and greasy foods. Eat alot of healthy food and grains for the fiber.

Good Luck

It should be two weeks but sometimes it does not go away at all, sorry. You can lessen the PCOS with a diet low in fat/and white flour carbs, drink water and exercise too.

wow, that's a high dose for PCOS, normally 1700mg is the max. You may want to ask your doctor to decrease your dose, it might alleviate some of the side effects your are experiencing.
