I had my wisdom teeth out and forgot to take my birth control for several days, then found out that BC increases the chance of dry sockets. I have tried to take it when I remember, but the days are so random that I don't know what to do to get back on track. What do you do in this case?

And I am not having sex. I only take it to regulate my periods.

If you're not having sex, it doesn't make sense to start some other time or throw away the pills you have. Just start from today, wherever you are in the pack and pick up fresh once a day. The only reason you'd have to start fresh after a period is if you were afraid you were pregnant-you wouldn't want to take BCP while pregnant. Otherwise, there is no reason not to start now. You'll have a period when you are off for the 7 days like normal, and be back on track. No need to double up or wait.

I would probably just skip the rest of this month and start back up after your period. Seems you could really confuse your body by doubling up several times trying to catch up. Good luck hun!

Agreed, don't double up. Just start with your next cycle.
