i have had my period 4 the last 6 days. then it stoped for 1 1/2 days. i just got it again. the thing is, i agreed to be in swimming competion and i have my period. there is no backing out. i dont wear tampons and my period does not stop in the water. what should i do????

alright so I'm 17 and I have a hemroid. I bought preparation h suppositories and it says to insert the little bullet like thing into my ***. I'm a seriously frightened about this, scares the **** out of me. Do I just leave it there? Do I put it all the way in so its disappeared? Will it stay in place? Help....

This is pretty embarrasing but why do i keep getting so much discharge.
Iknow my period isnt due..ive never had sex, whyyy!

Its horrible..i always have to wear pantiliners otherwise i feel asthough i have wet myself.

I dont understand!

i`m wondering if oral and fingering delay periods. my boyfriend just started fingering and performing oral on me recently. it isn't suppose to be my period moment yet, but i`m just asking ahead of time. does it affect my menstrual period if those are done? my period usually start around 13th-18th. if he fingers or perform oral on me near the 13th, will that delay my period?

Ever since this morning, my left leg's been aching like crazy.
It's an on and off pain and the pain's exact location varies from time to time.

I'm 14, but I got my period when I was like 9.

My mom told me that girls stop growing after they get their period.
However, she's also the one who told me since I broke my right leg, it would stop growing.

Are these just growing pains or something?

is it normal to not want to talk about your peroid and stuff like that with your mom? I'm fine like asking more bras or underwear but i never talk to her about my period. When she tries to ask me about it i tell her to go away. I would feel totally uncomfortable talking to her about like getting me pads or tampons, but she always gets more than she needs for me. theres a problem though, she uses super tampons, and idk if i need them. i dont want to get tss, but i dont want to ask her for a lower absorbency level. ohh yeah im thirteen years old and have had my period for almost a year..... if that helps at all.

Thanx everyone for all the help on Natracare.:) But there is one more thing I need to ask. When I put in a tampon ( it doesn't matter what kind, plastic or cardboard) I'll have the applicator in, but when I press the bottom, you know to put the cotton in, It's like there is something pushing the tampon in a different direction, or down. It's like a wall or something, like the tampon can only go in so far. I know the womans reproductive system, & all that, but I need other people's help about this. Im perfectly normal, it's just I don't know if Im putting it in too far, or if im putting it in wrong. When I put it in, I lean foward a little bit, like squating, this helps, but sometimes, it still does it. I have been using tampons for almost 3 yrs. this has never bothered me, Im just curious, thanx.:)

Im 12 and never used tampons before only pads, I tried tampax pearl...it was 2 big and didn't bend and stuff ,maybe ob cause ur finger puts it in? i dunno,which do u think? Oh! and it hurt a little but it was bearable, is that normal (when i tired tampax pearl) ? Please help because i HATE pads! I feel like im leaking and i figure skate so it's sorta bulky...sooooo yah! I haven't gotten my period but I've been getting cramping (most likely b/c I'm going to start soon) I've already decided that depending on the mood, I'll go up to my mom and tell her I've started my period or give her a note. But I don't know how to tell her that I've got cramps or that I'll most likely start b/c I don't KNOW 100% that I'll start in a week or if I'll start in 2 months. How can I tell her that I think I'm going to start and ask to get me some pads?

BTW: I've got breastbuds, white discharge, and hair "there"

I'm 13 and for the first time i put it in a tampon. last time i was in the bathroom crying for an hour cuz it was stuck and i couldnt get it out and it hurt so much....but i really did it. but i know ur not supposed to feel anything, but i do..but it doesnt hurt. when i put the applicator in, i didnt feel anything...and then i pushed the thingy to push the tampon in....and i didnt feel anything, but when i stood up and started walking....i felt a bit of something...well theres something in my body so of course i should feel it, but is this normal, or is there supposed to be ABSOLUTELY NO FEELING AT ALL? and also... im shaking uncontrollably cuz im nervous right now...cuz i am kinda happy and this is new, and my muscles are probably tight, is that whats making me feel it? is it normal that i feel it a little bit?

do all tampons have a warning about Toxic Shock Symdrome (TTS)? it's my first time using some to begin with that freaked me out. then i tried to put it in and it hurt,especially when i sat, is it suppost to? and the how do you know you put it in right, because i don't get the "put it in the right angle" i don't know what's the right angle.what's the worst thig that could happen for ussing tampons other than, the little string breaking?

I'm 19 my older sister sais it's about time I go see the gyno for a cervical cancer check. I don't want to though b/c that means they have to stick something up you and it will hurt. I don't know all the facts but I'm terribly scared b/c I'm not (active).

I just recently lost my virginity and it was during my period. I was kind of worried because I'm not on the pill but we used a condom to be safe. I read somewhere that you should check the condom for holes by filling it with water so I did that also. I talked with my mom and I suggested the pill, but neither she nor my boyfriend think it's a good idea because of the incresed risk of cervical cancer. I've already been tested and so has he so STDs are not a concern. I want to make sure I can have the safest sex possible without worrying constantly about risks. Does anyone have any other advice for me?

Hi! a few weeks ago, me and my b/f were foolin' around and he ejaculated on my vagina...(we did not have intercourse, but i was laying on top of him when he ejaculated all over me down there) about a week ago, i started the birth control pill, but I only took it for three days and forgot to take it the rest of the time...now i am experiencing heavy bleeding (It started with really light spotting and got heavier), with clots of tissue, and abdominal pain...i've looked up the symptoms of a miscarriage and the side effects of birth control and i have way more signs of a miscarriage than i do with it being caused from birth control...could i have been pregnant and and be experiencing a miscarriage from taking the birth control?? or is it just the birth control wacking out my hormones cause i forgot to take them the rest of the week? i called the nurse, and she said that it was from the birth control but i didn't tell her in detail about my symptoms or what all i was going through.

i am 10 years old. i have a few bra questions for you girls.

one time i was at the store with my mom and we passed the bra section. she asked me if i wanted one. i laughed and said no. i really wanted one though. that was about 7 months ago. i want a bra sooooooooo bad. i could easily fit into an AA cup. i really want a soft cup bra. i wear camis under all of my shirts. i don't have the guts to go up to my mom and have start the puberty and bra talk. my nipples have gotten darker and bigger and i really think i need a bra. my mom just never talked to me about it yet. maybe she is waiting for me to ask. my sister (16 yr old) had cupped bras since she was 9. now she is a 38 C cup. my mom had cup bras since she was 10. how do i talk to her about bras? how do i get her to start the talk? i want to scedule a mom/daughter day so we can go shopping for bras. how do i make my boobs bigger so she will notice? other details please? i dont wear any bra yet

p.s. am i overweight? 4'10 feet 77 lbs
