I'm not a "girl" anymore, but I'm hoping I can still help. :-)

In my case, my period didn't become regular. When I first started menstrating, I had my period once, then didn't get it again for several months. Then, I would sometimes have it twice a month, and skip the next few months. It was crazy!! But after a while...I think it was about two or three years, I started to have "more" regular periods. However, I ended up having my period for two weeks at a time, and therefore went on birth control to regulate the bleeding. So basically, every woman is different. Just keep track of how long your period lasts when you get it, then how many days it takes for you to get it again. Eventually your body will figure itself out. But trust me, I understand--there's nothing more embarassing than sitting in class and realizing that you've started your period again...unexpectedly. ;-)

It becomes regular every 28 days after one's 1st period or normal periods and it last for 5 to 7 days. For example, if your period date is on May 5th, then you can expect your next period to be on June 5th or a day after that or a day before that too. If not, then I don't know, you might have to consult a doctor or so.

personally, mine didn't. My doctor put me on the birth control pill when I was 14 and it worked great for me, It became completely predictable, and also helped it become lighter and ease the cramps. Since it has been about a year, talk to your doctor. Ask your mom and other family members (if you feel comfortable). Sometimes it is a family trait. Good Luck, I know it sucks.

For some women, it's regular from the time they start. For others, it's unpredictable their entire life. Then there's the women that have it irregularly until they have a baby, then it's regular.

In other words, you can't really tell when or if it ever will be perfectly scheduled.

I'm on birth control pills, it's nice because I know exactly what week my period will be (during the inactive pill week).

after the first period it can be 2 months to 2 years until you get your 2nd period. after the 2nd period the average time from period to period is 27 to 32 days. you can get a hand calendar and mark every 30 days after your 2nd period so you can keep track.

hope this helped* <3

it depends on the female.

Do you have any symptoms. Craving salty foods or chocolates. pressure around your abdomen, cramping, moodiness, even diarrhea a few days before your period. All of these can be telltale signs of your period.

Also is your mother around you or living with you? Do you have sisters or other females around you? Because usually your period will be in sync with the other females that you are around on a regular basis.

When I was younger I always knew because my mother's was always a few days before mines
